Welding machine is often used in our daily life tools, mainly using the high temperature arc generated by the positive and negative poles in the instant short circuit to melt the solder on the electrode and the welding material to be contacted by the combination, in use there is a certain risk, so we have to master some correct use of welding machine method.

First, do a good job of leakage protection of the welding machine, in the process of using the welding machine welding operation, the welding machine placed in the dry, insulation, sunscreen position, if it is open field operation, should be equipped with rainproof, moisture-proof, sunscreen shed, to prevent the rain caused by the leakage of the welding machine.

Second, fire prevention and explosion-proof safety measures should be taken at the welding site. Flammable and explosive items such as oil, wood, oxygen cylinders and acetylene generators should not be piled up within 10m of the welding site of the welding machine. There are sand, fire extinguishers and other fire fighting facilities near the site.

Third, ensure that the welder is correctly connected. Before the welder is used, it should check and confirm that the primary and secondary wires are correctly connected, and the input voltage meets the requirements of the welder's nameplate. After the power is connected, it is forbidden to contact the live part of the primary line. The primary and secondary connections must be equipped with protective covers. Secondary tap connecting copper plate should be pressed, terminal post should have gasket. Before closing, check the wiring nuts, bolts and other components to ensure that they are intact, loose or damaged. The terminals are provided with protective covers.

Fourth, when moving the welding machine, to cut off the power supply, do not use the method of dragging the cable to move the welder, if the sudden power failure in the welding process, also immediately cut off the power supply.

Fifth, avoid overload use of the welding machine, in the normal load operation of the welding machine, welding personnel should often check the temperature rise of the welding machine, such as more than A grade 60℃, B grade 80℃, must stop running and cooling, avoid overload operation.

Sixth, welding machine operation and cooperation personnel must wear labor protection equipment in accordance with the regulations. Safety measures must be taken to prevent electric shock, falling from high altitude, gas poisoning fire and other accidents. When welding copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, lead and other non-ferrous metals, the welding machine must be carried out in a well-ventilated place. Welding personnel should wear gas masks or breathing filters to avoid poisoning accidents.

Seventh, ensure the safety of the grounding wire of the welding machine, the grounding wire and the hand wire shall not be put on inflammable, explosive and with heat sources, the grounding wire shall not be connected to the pipeline, machine tool equipment and building metal frame or rail, the insulation shall be good, and the grounding resistance of the housing shall not be more than 4Ω.

Eighth, it is forbidden to use multiple welding machines in series. If multiple welding machines are needed in the operation, they should be connected to the three-phase power network to balance the three-phase load. The grounding device of multiple welders shall be connected by the grounding electrode respectively, and multiple welders shall not be connected in series.
